When Cary residents want to get outdoors, they head to the
Fred G. Bond Metro Park. Set alongside Bond Lake, the park is 310 acres of beautiful green spaces and stunning foliage. Along with relaxing views of the lake, the park offers picnic areas, boating, kayaking, trails for hiking, and more.
The city of Cary is also involved in several events throughout the year. These include the annual Farmers Fall Festival at the
Cary Downtown Farmers Market, the Barktoberfest held in nearby Raleigh, and the Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival held near
Academy Street in downtown Cary.
