A North Carolina native, Mary was born and raised in the small eastern North Carolina town of Williamston. As the daughter of an Episcopal priest, Mary values the connections she made over the years through church, school, work, andher neighborhood. Mary moved to Raleigh to attend North Carolina State University, where she has lived most of her life since graduation. Her family lived in Wilmington, NC fora brief two-year period, so she knows first-hand how difficult it can be to move to a new city and how important it is to establish community connections. Mary was excited to bring her family back to Raleigh and pursue her career in real estate with The Sheri Hagerty Group at Hodge & Kittrell Sotheby’s International Realty.
Mary has owned a speech therapy practice in Raleigh for 20 years. Fueled by her passion for helping others and her understanding of the relocating, home-buying and home-selling processes, she enjoys using her experiences to help others with their real estate needs.
In her free time, she enjoys running, reading and spending time with family and friends. Mary is passionate about childhood homelessness, serving on the advisory council for REACH, to ensure she is doing all she can to help others succeed. Mary and her husband David, along with their three children, are active participants at Christ Episcopal Church. She is committed to walking alongside her clients as their trusted resource in the buying and selling of their homes.
