A real estate agent since 2008, Gretchen always places her clients first. Each of her clients, whether moving across the ocean or across town, benefit from her exceptional work ethic, and her wide range of personal and business experience.
Gretchen knows about being a newcomer to a town. A native of the northeast, Gretchen has managed no fewer than five relocations for her own family. For clients new to the area, she is a source of abundant and client-tailored information. She quickly turns outsiders into insiders. When working with long-time Triangle residents, Gretchen enjoys showing fresh perspectives.
Using her background as an NYC based commodity analyst, she believes that clients deserve more research, more accountability, and more access to data. She listens carefully to identify clients’ needs and priorities. Her clients develop the knowledge and confidence to make sound real estate decisions. Teaming with industry specialists, she ensures successful and smooth transactions for her clients.
Whether marketing a property for sale or guiding a buyer in a purchase, Gretchen’s goal is to exceed clients’ expectations. For buyers, her extensive research and review of the local market enable her to identify opportunities, understand property values and negotiate effectively. When marketing homes for sale, she takes a hands-on approach. The property is attractively positioned in front of the right buyers and buyer agents to generate more interest, more traffic, and more showings.
Gretchen's hard work, positive attitude, integrity and dedication to service result in happy clients -- who are the real source of her success. In the past five years, she has closed nearly $50 million in sales. Her market focus covers the towns and communities in Orange, Durham and Chatham counties, with a special interest in Chapel Hill and the city of Durham.
Gretchen gives back to the communities she serves. She is involved with the Durham and Orange County Habitat for Humanity groups, serving as a foundation member in Durham. Annual contributions tied to her residential sales are an important way Gretchen proves her dedication to building a safe and secure future for families in need.
When not focused on real estate, Gretchen enjoys spending time with her husband of 28 years, Ed, and their twin daughters, Fiona and Liv, who attend Elon University and North Carolina State University. The family loves international travel, taking advantage of her husband and daughters’ dual U.S. and Italian citizenships and their German, French and Chinese language capabilities.
