Real Estate Agent

A Raleigh native, Clark has been exposed to the real estate business since childhood. His father developed and sold properties in the Longview Gardens subdivision, and his godfather, Peter Williams, was a founder of the well-known Williams and Haywood firm which gave a start to many of Raleigh's successful agents and firms. His time in the practice of law helps him to focus on the issues that matter to the parties in a transaction and his mediation skills enable him to draw parties to an agreement that best serves their interests. Since returning to Raleigh, he has been closely involved with a local homebuilding company and has developed several single-family homes. He has also developed a successful time-share property in Litchfield Beach, South Carolina.

Clark attended Ravenscroft School and Hugh Morson School in Raleigh, then Virginia Episcopal School, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the University of South Carolina School of Law. Following law school, Clark practiced in Savannah, Georgia for more than a decade, returning to Raleigh in 1987. Clark has served on the Board of Trustees for Ravenscroft School, Virginia Episcopal School, and The Poe Center for Health Education. He has participated in capital campaigns for each institution, and has headed Finance and Investment committees at those institutions as well.

Clark and his wife, Diane, have raised two children who also live and own homes here. Clark has another daughter and two grandsons who live in Atlanta. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, boating, and being with his family.
