An on-air personality at WRAL-TV 5 for two decades, Susan moved to Raleigh in 1980 to host the television program PM Magazine. During her career, she traveled the world as Entertainment Editor and produced many award-winning local programs as Executive Producer of the station. Trading in the broadcast spotlight for her love of homes, Susan's career as a real estate broker immediately blossomed. She loves the charm of an old home, recently restoring two bungalows in Five Points and Glenwood Brooklyn. The hunt is what Susan finds most appealing, searching for that perfect home for her client. Blending her love of homes with her love of art, Susan is also a well-known oil painter in the Carolinas. With homes and art being her two passions, it seemed only natural to join Hodge & Kittrell Sotheby's International Realty. Susan has lived in the Carolinas since college and her knowledge of the marketplace has grown since the day she married a local homebuilder. She and her husband, Johnny, have raised two daughters. Their youngest, Sarah, is a broker and Susan's assistant, and now Johnny has also joined the team as a broker to make it a family trio. They will be happy to show you why the Triangle is the best place to call home.
