Hodge & Kittrell Sotheby’s International Realty is Proud to Welcome Holly Cannon

Holly is a midwestern native, but after living in Raleigh for over a decade, she proudly calls North Carolina her home. Holly played tennis on a full scholarship at the University of Wisconsin, and after graduating, she lived in many different cities across the country working as a news reporter and anchor. Journalism gave her unique perspective and insight as she forged connections with friends from all walks of life. The ability to listen and relate to clients is key to Holly’s success as she works to find the right fit for her buyers and sellers. When she is not selling homes, her three kids keep her moving and laughing as they travel the country for tennis and baseball tournaments. North Carolina was warm and welcoming when Holly and her family arrived years ago, and she is eager to provide the same experience and attentive service for her clients. Holly offers a premier level of customer service, while simultaneously establishing new friendships in the Triangle.

Hodge & Kittrell Sotheby’s International Realty is Proud to Welcome John Bashford

John is making the Bashford Group a trio, joining his wife, Susan Bashford, and daughter, Sarah Bashford, in their unparalleled real estate services. He is a true born and raised Raleigh native who grew up under the tutelage of his builder/developer father, Ryan Bashford. As a young man, he hammered away on homes throughout Wake County as his summer job. After graduating from East Carolina University, he decided to pursue that part-time passion as a full-time career. A decade later, he shifted his focus to become a manufacturers’ sales representative, but it is the success of Susan and Sarah that brings him back to the realm of homes. When the Bashford ladies give him time off, you will find John either cruising in his 1973 Jeep Commando with his two white doodles in tow, strumming the guitar with his Americana band or hitting the links as an avid golfer.

News & Observer Home | Design Article on Historic Oakwood

The News & Observer’s Triangle Home Design article from Sunday, May 12 highlights Raleigh’s Historic Oakwood neighborhood and features three of our listings.

Our own Anna Ball Hodge is quoted in this article remarking on the historical significance of the neighborhood and how it continues to attract buyers.

Anna Ball explains, “You’ll find homeowners that have lived in the neighborhood for 40-50 years. And then next door, you may have a young couple who just moved from another metro area to work in downtown. It  really is a melting pot of ages, ethnicities, family structures, professional experience and so much more.”

“Many people love that they can own single-family homes with yards, yet be right in the urban center with restaurants, art, music and museums at their doorstep,” Anna Ball explains. “It’s a very tight-knit community of neighbors who appreciate the diverse, yet remarkable, history of Historic Oakwood.”

Hodge & Kittrell Sotheby’s International Realty is Proud to Welcome Lee Rand

Lee comes to us after a 20-year career as a teacher and academic coach, with 13 of those years spent at Raleigh’s Ravenscroft School. Her experience and expertise in education translate well to her career as a REALTOR®: she is dedicated, supportive, patient, a proactive communicator and a problem-solver. Whether working with clients who are weighing their options about purchasing their first home or selling to downsize, she relishes helping them find what suits their lifestyle, needs and desires. Lee enjoys watching ACC basketball, especially when UNC, her alma mater, is playing. You may see her around Cameron Village walking her Golden Retriever, Huckelberry, who enjoys meeting people as much as Lee does.
