Pumpkin Patches & Corn Mazes

Page Farms – Raleigh

(September 25th – October 31st)

Attractions include hayrides, pumpkin picking, corn maze, cow train, swings, slides, corn crib, animals and more.

Pumpkin Patch Express – Durham

(October 2nd – October 31st)

Take the Ellerbe Creek Railway to the pumpkin patch and pick out a pumpkin. Enjoy a hay maze, mini-golf, nature bingo and take-home activities, then ride the Ellerbe Creek Railway back.

Phillips Farm – Cary

(September 18th – October 31st)

Attractions include a pumpkin patch, sunflower field, hayrides, fall market, pre-picked pumpkins, corn maze and a family fun park. 

Ken’s Korny Corn Maze – Garner

(September 24th – November 7th)

Attractions include a six-acre corn maze with over two and a half miles of paths, a children’s maze, hayrides, rope maze, concessions, picnic area, photo opportunities, gourd checkers, monster truck and tractor, miniature golf and of course, a pumpkin patch.

DJ’s Berry Patch – Apex

(September 15th – October 31st)

DJ’s Berry Patch is your one-stop-shop for pumpkins and all things fall. They sell many varieties of pumpkins and gourds, mums, hay bales, corn stalks and fall produce such as apples, butternut squash and acorn squash. They also serve ice cream and pound cakes in delicious fall flavors.

Apple Picking

Millstone Creek Orchard – Asheboro

(October 1st – October 31st)

Attractions include apple picking, pumpkin picking, hayrides, live music and more. Also shop the Apple Barn filled with fresh produce, baked goods and other fall treats.

North Carolina State Farmer’s Market – Raleigh


Enjoy 75 acres of indoor/outdoor specialty shops, restaurants and garden center and pick up some fresh fall vegetables from local vendors from across the state.

Perkins Orchard – Durham


Perkins Orchard carries fruits and vegetables from local growers around the Triangle area, as well as local honey, specialty ciders, and locally produced jams, jellies and condiments. They also offer a $20 fill your bag deal for produce and a $99 fill your wagon deal on pumpkins.

Festivals & Fairs

North Carolina State Fair – Raleigh

(October 14th – October 24th)

Attractions include rides, live entertainment and music, livestock competitions and lots of tasty fair food.

Falling For Local – Raleigh

(October 16th)

Falling For Local features local makers, vendors, food trucks, beer and wine, as well as free hayrides and inflatables, and even a free pumpkin patch.

Triangle Oktoberfest – Cary

(October 1st & October 2nd)

Triangle Oktoberfest is an authentic German festival focused on family fun and featuring traditional Bavarian food, local and authentic German beers and live entertainment.

Festifall Arts Market & More – Chapel Hill

(October 15th – October 30th)

Chapel Hill’s annual fall arts festival is coming back for 2021, in a slightly different form. It will take place on three evenings. Each block party will feature 20 to 30 local artists, artisans and craftspeople, 2-3 local gourmet food and drink vendors, and experiential art offerings.

Hill Ridge Farms Fall Pumpkin Festival – Youngsville

(October 1st – October 31st)

Attractions include hayrides, a farm animal corral, 80-foot giant slide, pony rides, face painting, pumpkins for sale, live music and more.
