Meet Claire
BrokerClaire Pope is no stranger to finding a new home. She hails from Cheshire UK where she had a successful career as an actress and presenter for film and television, she has appeared in BBC adaptations and has worked alongside actors such as Stephen Graham and Mark Strong.
Claire and her family moved to Chapel Hill in 2015 after her husband’s job was relocated to the Triangle. She lives with her husband David who works in clinical research and their two daughters Kitty and Betsy, close to the Franklin Street office. Their eldest son Callum still lives in Leeds UK where he has a successful career in Medical sales.
Claire has always had a passion for real estate and she and her husband have enjoyed buying and selling houses in the UK and still own property there. Claire once presented a show called property search TV which helped out of town buyers view homes virtually throughout the UK.
After renting for a few years, Claire and her husband decided to make things more permanent and put roots down and make Chapel Hill their permanent home in November 2019. Claire found the process of trying to find a house challenging having moved from the UK and would love to help others relocating to the Triangle.
Claire is very involved locally and knows the Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Chatham and Durham areas very well.
Her love of film is channeled through FilmFest919 where she now serves on the committee. Claire also serves on the committee for the Orange County Habitat for Humanity annual spring fashion show.
Claire loves being involved in the community and helping others and would love to help you find your new home.
